Summer Tour

Hello and welcome to our August blog from Sweet and Nostalgic. Well, the summer weather has not been too bad this year, yes we've had the odd deluge of rain but i'd say we've also had our fair share of sunshine aswell.

We've been out on the road quite a bit since June, The Blackwood Summer Festival, The Big Cheese at Caerphilly and at the Pembrokeshire County Show in Haverfordwest. You can see from the pics we took , and I wasn't lying about the weather !


Blackwood Summer Festival - July 2011

I'm glad the sign behind did'nt say Fresh Sausages !!












The Big Cheese - July 2011

We had beautiful weather at the Big Cheese and we even met Martin Platts from Corrie.. apparantly he makse cheese in between Corrie and Daz adverts !












We have also been adding some new products to our range over the last couple of months. Our new (or old) motoring signs, made of aluminium and shaped just as there were back in the day. There's Shell, The Michelin Man, Esso, Good Year and More.. we think that these are perfect for the motorsport enthusiast that has converted their garage into a workshop (might aswell make it look genuine).

We've also just added 38 new DVD Titles to the site. These are special interest DVD's covering subjects such as Steam Trains, WWII, Cars, Bikes and The Beatles. Sure to be a favorite for Christmas.

Our Retro Sweet Jar and Hamper range has been extended by another 6 gifts. Big Boy, Perfect Pink and a selection of deluxe sweetie boxes, all of which can be personalised with your very own gift message. We can also offer next day delivery if it's ordered before 12pm.

Next month sees the addition of another 20 new metal wall signs, this popular range just gets bigger and bigger, there's now over 100 designs to choose from.
