Established 2008. Hello and welcome to Sweet and Nostalgic. We are an internet only company, selling an ever-expanding range of gifts from the 20th Century. From unique sweet gift packs, reproduction memorabilia and personalised gifts, we have a little something for everyone!
Based in Porthcawl in South Wales, Sweet and Nostalgic was born from an eureka moment during the summer of 2008. Since then, myself (Mark) and my wife (Sian), have evolved the business into a unique online shop, with an extensive range of product.
We created our own ‘brand’ decade sweet packs, one of our best sellers, and have also developed these into unique decade sweet and mug gifts. Our range includes 1940’s, 1950’s 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s and 1990’s. We are currently developing a range to help us move into the 21st Century too! In addition to our own brand range, we have established firm partnerships with some excellent suppliers. As a result, we stock reproduction signs, vintage storage tins, World War memorabilia and a fantastic range of personalised gifts. Therefore, we feel we have a wide range of gift ideas for Birthdays, Christmas, Anniversaries and Retirement.

We cater for individuals and for large corporate clients too and regularly sell to Schools, Care Homes, Universities, Military Bases, Re-enactment groups, Wedding Planners and Public Relations Marketing teams.

Mark
Head honcho and the driving force behind Sweet and Nostalgic! Mark has nurtured the business since he established it in 2008. His blood, sweat and yes, sometimes tears over the early years, certainly paid off. Sweet and Nostalgic is a business he is very proud of. Mark’s goal is always to ensure our products are high quality items, that will take you back in time to reminisce or to learn about British history from the 20th Century onwards. In addition to this Mark’s emphasis is on fair pricing, competitive shipping and above all, customer service that we would expect to receive ourselves. This year, 2023, is the 15 year anniversary for Sweet and Nostalgic – Good on you Mark!

Sian is the key support in the background. Always ready to pitch in and help during busy periods, Sian is delighted that Mark’s small grain of an idea back in 2008 has flourished into a business they are thrilled to call theirs.
