The Birthday Edition Newspaper Book is the perfect gift for anyone who’s ever wondered what was making the headlines on each and every one of their birthdays.
Here’s how it works. The personalised Birthday Edition Newspaper Books feature a front page newspaper reprint from the recipient’s Date of Birth and then every birthday thereafter. So if, for example, their birth date was the 1st September 1953, this will be the first front page to appear. After that, it’ll be 1st September 1954, then ’55, then ’56 and so on, all the way through to present day.
Opposite each front-page reprint is a blank page that the recipient can fill with photos and messages that relate to that year. As you’d expect, it’s also worth bearing in mind that the book’s thickness will depend greatly on the age of the recipient.
The newspaper book will be available in two finishes. There’s a Racing Green Leatherette version, and you’ll also find a luxury, black leather edition. Whichever style you go for, they will be embossed with your recipient's name on the front cover.
Please note, as this is shipped directly from our supplier, we are unable to provide an additional gift message with this item (although the option will still automatically show at the checkout).
Your Gift Personalised
The book opens with a front page montage surrounding a blank label so you can hand write a personal message to the recipient. You also receive a FREE personalised embossing of the recipient’s Name on the front cover and an option to purchase a gift box.
General Information
These fantastic personalised books measure an impressive 38 x 31cm, approximately tabloid size and beautifully bound in a choice of hardback covers. Content is taken from the Daily Mirror as it provides the best insight into periods past, though broad journalistic content, photographs (which many other titles 40, 50 years ago lacked), advertisements etc. Established in 1903 and Britain’s best selling post war paper up to the 1970s.
Please note: There will be occasions (very rarely) when a front page for your exact date isn't available. For example: No newspapers are printed on Christmas Day, Good Friday and during strikes, in which case a front page from the day after will be used.
