Defence Medal (Miniature)
This medal was awarded to service personnel for three years services at home or six months service overseas in territories subjected to air attack or otherwise closely threatened. This re-Edit Production WWII Defence medal is made from lead-free pewter. It is supplied on a green, black and orange ribbon attached to a card with an image of the Home Guard training to use a Vicker's machine gun on the front and historical information on the reverse. An interesting World War Two educational resource for students, likewise, a nostalgic gift for WWII enthusiasts.
