John Jameson established his Irish Whiskey distillation at Bow Street, in Dublin, in 1780. His son, John Jameson II joined him 25 years later, taking over later that year. He built up the business before handing it over to his son, John Jameson III in 1851. In 1901, the company formally incorporated the name as John Jameson and Sons Ltd, as seen on this reproduction advertisement sign. These signs are NOT UV treated, but you can apply a suitable UV resistant spray post purchase to prolong it's vibrant colours for a longer period of time ( available from most DIY stores and online ), check out our special Blog for more information. Signs placed in direct sunlight will naturally fade over time. However, placing your sign in the right place will ensure years of happy viewing.
