Mini Campaign Medal - Crimea War
A miniature Crimea War medal. On the obverse, the head of Queen Victoria and date 1854 below. The reverse has a depiction of a standing Roman warrior about to receive a laurel crown from a flying figure of victory, the word CRIMEA appearing on the left. The card has a full colour painting of the ill fated charge of The Light Brigade at the Battle of Balaclava on the front and historical information about the medal and the Crimean war on the back. An interesting Crimea War educational resource for students. Likewise, a nostalgic gift for Crimea war enthusiasts.
