GAMES RULES

Catch Em

Suitable for up to 6  players.
A game fo up to 6 players, one player becomes the master (cat) and the others become the mice. The cat controls the play. To commence, the players who are the mice place their pieces, nose inwards, on the solid red circle.
The cat takes up the bowl in one hand and with the other hand rolls the dice on the table, but before he does this the mice take hold of the end of the tail of their piece. When the dice stops rolling the colour on top indicates which mouse is to STOP STILL. All other mice attempt to escape capture by the cat by whipping their mouse away by the tail from the cat who tries to trap as many as possible under the bowl. At any one throw of the dice the cat can whip the bowl down quickly once only, and he can attempt to catch one or as many mice as he desires. The body of the mouse must be inside the bowl complete to claim capture. When a black side appears on top of the dice, ALL mice remain perfectly still. The fun will be fast and furious.

Each player starts with 100 points, and either looses points or gains points depending on whether they have been captured. When players reach zero they must retire from the game. Last player is the winner.

Snakes and Ladders- Retro Family Travel Board Game

Suitable for 2 or more players.

The game of Snakes and Ladders originated in India as a game based on morality called 'Vaikuntapaali' or 'Paramapada Sopanam' (the ladder to salvation).
The game made it's way to Britain in the late 1800's as people travelled around the British Empire at the time.
It seems that the original Indian version of the game dates back as far as the 16th Century. The ladders represented virtues such as generosity, faith, humility etc.. and the snakes represented vices such as anger, murder, theft etc..
Snakes and Ladders has been enjoyed by children for many, many years.
We hope that this version, based on an original game dating from the 1920's will bring hours of fun as it is played today.
