The Supermarine Spitfire Legend Metal Wall Sign (4 Sizes)
The first incarnation of the Spitfire flew in March 1936. Designed by RJ Mitchell, the Spitfire had many versions up until it was decommissioned in the 1950's. The backbone of the RAF aerial campaign, during the whole of World War Two, the Spitfire took on many numerous roles. Around 60 Spitfires are still flying today, with many more decommissioned ones displayed all over where the Spitfire saw action. This Spitfire wall sign is part of our 'Legends of the Skies' collection. Our Supermarine Spitfire metal wall art is a must for all World War II, aircraft and transport enthusiasts.
