Thomas Crapper & Co. Metal Wall Sign (3 Sizes)

Despite the urban legend, Crapper did not invent the toilet (the myth assisted by his surname). The flushing toilet was invented by Edward Jennings who, in 1852, first took out a patent for the flush-out toilet.

However, Crapper did much to increase its popularity and came up with some related inventions, such as the ballcock. He was noted for the quality of his Edit Products and received several Royal Warrants.

This victorian adverting flyer (on a tin sign) produced by Thomas Crapper and Co. shows with quirky interest the development of the flushing toilet.

This lovely Nostalgic Bathroom Sign would look just the picture in a vintage styled bathroom or utility room. The sign comes with pre drilled holes in each corner for easy fixing, however the small signs can also be put up with small double sided sticky pads.
