Wright's Coal Tar Soap Metal Wall Sign ( 3 Sizes )
For over 150 years, Wright’s Coal Tar Soap was and still is a popular brand of household soap; its successor can still be bought in supermarkets and from chemists worldwide. It was developed by William Valentine Wright in 1860 from "liquor carbonis detergens", the liquid by-product of the distillation of coal to make coke; the liquid was made into an antiseptic soap for the treatment of skin diseases.
This classic vintage advertising sign is perfect for collectors and as a decorator's piece for bathrooms!
Your Wright's Coal Tar Soap Wall Sign will come with pre drilled holes in each corner for easy fixing. We recommend that your Metal Wall Art is suitable for Indoor hanging (preferably out of direct sunlight) or in a shaded area outside. These signs are NOT UV treated, but you can apply a suitable UV resistant spray post purchase to prolong it's vibrant colours for a longer period of time ( available from most DIY stores and online ), check out our special Blog for more information. Signs placed in direct sunlight will naturally fade over time. However, placing your sign in the right place will ensure years of happy viewing.
Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this, and we will be happy to offer advice.
